390 Series

Fishing the 390

Besides an abundance of cockpit space, the 390 offers a host of fishing innovations, some of which have never been seen before in any boat. Like every SeaVee, the 390 can be customized from bow to stern with up to three bait wells, multiple fish boxes, tons of rod holders, and a full tower complete with a second station. Two additional storage compartments featuring a bucket style liner are located port and starboard of the bilge access hatch in the outboard model. The 390 Series can carry up to 40 fishing rods on the sides of the console, the back of the leaning post, and rocket launcher, as well as in below deck rod lockers.

Yet what’s sure to raise eyebrows is the optional pneumatic actuated fish box lid that opens at the push of a button. This feature only sounds like a toy until you use it for the first time and discover just how handy it really is. Another amazing innovation is the hull-side door that opens towards the bow instead of down into the water, enabling you to keep the boat in gear and use it to land trophy fish. The captain simply turns towards the fish and with a short tug on the leader your catch slides smoothly onto the deck and into the fish box – all without the need for a gaff.
