Yacht like fit & finish
Fit and Finish
Attention to detail. High quality components. Expert craftsmanship. That’s what sets SeaVee apart.
Anyone can claim they finish first. That’s why we invite you to come see for yourself. Please join us at the next South Florida Boat Show or schedule a sea trial at your convenience. You’ll quickly notice that every SeaVee offshore fishing boat is beautiful to look at from bow to stern. Her surfaces are clean, smooth and straight. You’ll notice overbuilt stainless hardware and sturdy hinges, doors and locks. And you'll marvel at your own reflection in the gelcoat from over 20 feet away.
There are lots of details to take in and appreciate. The list below is a good starting point for comparison purposes.
Every SeaVee offshore powerboat features gas shocks standard on latches and lids to prop them open and prevent them from slamming shut on your toes. Notice the gasket that runs all the way around the inside to keep water out, assuring your gear stays dry and salt free. All lids are flush with the deck, two-piece molded, and finished on both sides. They can also be locked shut so they don’t open or bang around when underway.
SeaVee consoles are an engineering marvel. They offer an abundance of mounting space for electronics and all of the high-tech equipment found on today’s center console boats. And they offer tons of rod storage, easy entry and total protection against water intrusion.
For fishing boats with inboard power, the console serves as an engine compartment, whereas the outboard configuration allows that space to be utilized for the optional electric head along with plenty of storage space.
All SeaVee center consoles open in the front, allowing for plenty of rod storage along both sides. Console rod holders are plumbed to drain into the bilge – so when you wash down your boat or mother nature gets a little nasty, the inside of the console stays dry and clean.
A deep channel runs the entire length of the console entry to catch and divert any water attempting to get inside. The console door features a thick rubber gasket that aligns perfectly with the channel for a tight fit, effectively sealing the console against the elements.
The batteries are mounted inside the console high above the waterline to provide power even if the boat should take on water. Logically, battery switches, breakers and other items vulnerable to corrosion are located here as well.
Even though the center console opens to the front, SeaVee still features a bow seat. On most models, the entire seat and console door slide to the port side, making it easy to get in and out. The 390 Series has an even more elegant solution. The seat and console door slides open at the push of a button when equipped with the optional pneumatic system. That means you can have it all, rod storage on the sides of the console, front entry, and a comfy seat in front of the center console.
Wiring & Electronics Installation
Check out the tinned-copper wiring on a SeaVee offshore powerboat and you’ll notice that everything is neat, tidy and clean. Connections are crimped properly and insulated against salt intrusion. We use breakers instead of fuses and even the battery switches are located inside the console to keep them free of salt and moisture. As a result, electrical problems are unheard of among SeaVee owners.
SeaVee fishing boats offer factory installation for all third party electronics ensuring onboard systems are properly integrated. From a simple VHF and Chartplotter to complex networked navigation systems complete with onboard weather, iPod connectors, autopilots, and stereo remotes, we ensure the job is done right, providing years of trouble-free operation.
Attention to detail is what makes owning a SeaVee custom boat more enjoyable. It means less hassles, fewer problems to fix and more time spent on the water – so you can lead the way.Next
