Propeller Pocket reduces 310i & 340i draft by more than a foot!

Miami, June 8, 2004

SeaVee Boats is constantly innovating their line of center console fishing boats to improve the ride, performance and fishability. In that spirit, following the introduction of the 310 Series last year, SeaVee is proud to introduce the addition of a propeller pocket option for the 310 and 340 inboard configurations.

On a single inboard, the running gear is located directly underneath and in line with the keel, requiring 42” of water to float the hull. Adding a propeller pocket to the 310 and 340 Series has several key advantages. First, draft is reduced by an amazing 13 inches, requiring only 28 inches of water to float the 310i. Second, and equally impressive, is the fact that the prop pocket reduces the angle of the shaft significantly. In turn, a flatter shaft angle means more speed at the same RPM, along with increased range. As an added benefit, the flat shaft angle produces an improved ride in choppy conditions, keeping the bow down to cut through the rough stuff with ease.

When you add it all up, the addition of the propeller pocket option allows anglers that often traverse shallow water or travel long distances to consider the inboard configuration as a serious option for their particular application. For the rest of us, the prop pocket is yet another exclusive on the long list of customer centric options offered by SeaVee Boats.
